Australian organisations and individuals face losing thousands of private emails and trade secrets to hackers through a crafty new attack which takes advantage of typos.
Two researchers at San Francisco-based security firm Godai Group have released a white paper outlining how in six months they were able to intercept 120,000 emails - 20 gigabytes worth - that were meant for US Fortune 500 companies.
