Vodafone Managed Services Agreement Extension – 27 March 2015
Vodafone Hutchison Australia extended its arrangements with Nokia Networks for the provision of managed services, including:
- Network operations
- Network maintenance
- Remote network management from Nokia’s global delivery centre in India
- Real-time service management for multi-vendor paging, 2G, 3G and 4G networks
- Participation in a joint transformation project
This agreement extends a managed services contract established in 2006.
Department of Health Infrastructure and Support Agreement – 1 April 2015
The Australian Government Department of Health has engaged Auckland-based Datacom to provide a range of managed services, including:
- ICT Infrastructure
- Support
Datacom will deliver an outcomes-based fully managed service with consumption-based pricing. This agreement will replace current ICT services contracts with IBM Australia and Accenture in June 2015.
ECU Cloud Solutions Agreement – 1 April 2015
Edith Cowan University (ECU) has engaged Atos to transfer its core IT services from campus data centres to a private Cloud using shared infrastructure at other data centres.
SA Government Radio Network Upgrade – 7 April 2015
Motorola Solutions will upgrade and manage the South Australian Government’s radio network, which includes the provision of:
- Solutions and support for over 20 agencies that utilise the network, such as emergency services
- An open standard network with integrated voice and data capabilities
- Systems integration solutions
- New infrastructure for voice dispatch consoles, call logging, network linking and paging
- Help desk services
- Real-time operational reporting
- Field services
- Proactive network monitoring
Motorola Solutions will lead the initiative with support from specialised service partners.
Coca-Cola Amatil Cloud Solutions Agreement –
8 April 2015
IBM will transfer Coca-Cola Amatil’s Asia-Pacific CRM systems to the IBM Cloud. The systems will span the company, and support functions such as:

- Forecasting

ESTA Telecommunications Services Agreement –

Victoria’s Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA) has engaged NEC Australia to maintain and support its telephony solutions and services, including the state’s triple zero communications platform. Under the agreement, NEC Australia will be responsible for an integrated communications solution, including:
- email routing and management
- Web chat routing
- short message service routing
- Social media routing
- Mobile applications
- Agent desktop tools
ATO Managed Network Services Agreement
Extension – 9 April 2015
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has extended its agreement with Optus Business for the provision of managed network services. Under the arrangement, Optus is responsible for:
- Mobile communications
- Fixed communications
- Contact centre
- Videoconferencing solutions
The original contract between the ATO and Optus Business for managed network services was established in 2009.
PWS Asset Management Solutions Agreement – 23 April 2015
Pitney Bowes will provide asset management solutions for Tasmania’s Parks and Wildlife Services (PWS). The asset management solutions will facilitate:
- Monitoring the repair, maintenance and investment in PWS’ infrastructure assets
