Microsoft Industry Cloud – What is the Value Proposition

Conclusion:
Microsoft has been developing a concept to deliver business-ready Cloud solutions by industry type over the past year or so. The current Industry Cloud solutions under development or in release number six with more planned. The first to market solution was for the healthcare industry in 2020, and they have subsequently created an industry Cloud capability for financial services, retail, manufacturing (for public review), nonprofit in 2021, and a sustainability Industry Cloud was released on June 1, 2022.
The focus of the industry Cloud approach is to structure the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Cloud services on top of the Azure basic Cloud offering, allowing for industry to more easily configure and integrate Cloud services using Microsoft services and applications, and to more easily integrate with third party products. The main question for this paper is what is the value proposition for Industry Cloud to your organisation?
