VENDORiQ: Aussie Vendor espresso Displays Introduces 17 Pro and Portable Power Solution

More tech solutions for hybrid workers.

The Latest

17 October 2023: Australian vendor espresso Displays, has recently launched the espresso 17  Pro, a portable touchscreen device that joins its range of small models. The new 17-inch model offers 4K resolution, a 1 billion colour spectrum, and Microsoft surface-like touch and pen features. The announcement also introduced a new note-taking solution and accessories.

Of these accessories, the battery pack espresso Charge provides power for the screen and laptop throughout the day. The battery pack fits beneath the Stand Pro, raises the 17 Pro to a higher stance and has an impressive 27,000mAh/99wH. It can power both the screen and a laptop for four to six hours, catering to professionals working outside traditional office spaces.

Why It’s Important

With the emergence of hybrid work models, many professionals have enhanced their home office setups, often incorporating multiple screens. The espresso 17 Pro offers a solution for these individuals to maintain a similar workspace when transitioning to an office environment, suggesting a potential shift towards a ‘bring your own screen’ approach.

As more individuals begin to use screens as input devices, especially with hi-resolution pens, devices such as the espresso 17 Pro could play a pivotal role in this transition, leading to the development of new digital processes and pen-based computing methods.

Additionally, espresso’s growing local and global distribution partnerships indicate a move from primarily consumer-focused offerings to a broader business solution.

The role of touchscreens, as represented by devices like the espresso 17 Pro, is anticipated to become increasingly integral in various sectors, including offices and the retail and service industries.
