Microsoft (MS) is changing the licensing structures for Dynamics 365 (D365). From discussions with MS product managers and licensing specialists, these changes (which started in 2019, with further changes in 2020) are driven by the desire to make Dynamics more 'task-centric'. That is, the new licensing aligns to specific workloads, and positions Dynamics against its arch rival Salesforce. However, the changes also mean greater licensing complexity for new customers.

IBRS was asked to present on the AI market for 2018 - 2019. This advisory presents an AI market overview for this time with an outlook towards 2025. How has your organisation's AI journey progressed?
